June 24-28 | 9a-12:30p
Welcome to Scuba VBS--the summer event that helps kids dive into friendship with God! At Scuba VBS, kids explore what it means to have a friendship with a real, loving, trustworthy God--a friendship that lasts forever! You can expect a week full of faith discoveries, memorable music, and epic adventures that help kids grow in faith. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.

Parent Comments
What an incredible week it was! My daughter came home each day and was able to tell me most, if not all, of what she learned and did. We are grateful for you and your team and will plan to return next year. Thanks again for creating such a safe, wonderful learning environment!

Your VBS at St. John is the world’s best. We look forward to it every year. This was my son's 5th one (since age 4) ! Hoping he can help one day as a volunteer. Megan Disney

I just wanted to send a quick note to say thank you so much for all that you do. My kids have gone to VBS at St John since they both were old enough to attend and have always had the BEST time.
This year both of my kids were in the same group. My kids thought [the crew leader] was just the funnest, coolest guy. So grateful for all the thought/care and hard work put into this every year. It doesn’t go unnoticed. ❤️ THANK YOU!

Volunteer Testimonial
Why do I volunteer to help with VBS? I volunteer because children are a real joy and blessing from our Heavenly Father and his Son. If, in some small way I can help children to know my Savior Jesus Christ, it brings joy to my life. I still remember the Bible verse John 14:6 given to me as a small 3rd grader to memorize and then recite for the children’s Christmas program. It is my hope that more children will be able to look back on their VBS experience, as I have on mine. I believe it’s important to plant seeds that lead to trusting my Savior Jesus Christ.
The gift of eternal life with my Heavenly Father, made possible by faith in his Son Jesus Christ is a very special Gift to be able to share. Now in my latter years this faith has given me a freedom that passes all human understanding. I know that Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for me and no matter what ever happens before I’m called home by my Heavenly Father there is nothing that I fear as I know that He will take care of me, The truth really has set me free and any way I can share my joy in the freedom, makes me very happy and thankful.
