St. John está expandiendo en su Ministerio en Español. Hace tres años, el ministerio de español se comenzó con clases de inglés como segunda lengua los miércoles por la noche. St. John is branching out in its Spanish Ministry. Three years ago the Spanish ministry started with ESL (English as a Second Language) classes on Wednesday nights. Since then, this ministry has been growing in volunteers, attendants, and events. Some of the fellowship events this past year were Las Posadas, Cine en Piyamas, a Community Christmas dinner, and a weekly Bible Study. The Spanish Ministry program is spiritually supported by Omar Sarmiento, the coordinator of the program and current seminary student. Omar Sarmiento was commissioned by St. John in April 2022 to help with the creation and leading of the Hispanic Ministry at St. John.
