Sue Dorn

Mission Coordinator

Having traveled all over the world and having lived in multiple states, I can now say that I have landed in Texas! My early years were spent in Chicago and NJ, then on to St Louis and off to Indiana for college. Then back to St Louis. Life has been a whirlwind and God has certainly been generous with the experiences I have been able to enjoy. My daughter, son-in-law and 3 spectacular grandchildren are the sunshine in my day. St John (now Pathfinders) in the St Louis area encouraged me to lead my first short term mission team back in 2000. It was a VBS team to Chitina, Alaska. What has followed has been leading more than 100 teams to Belize, Guatemala, Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Leading short term teams has been an amazing means of meeting and building relationships with people from many cultures and age groups. It isn’t what I thought I would do when I grew up, but obviously, God had other plans. And I am so thankful He did! “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
