Youth Mission Statement

The St. John Youth intend to Build Strong Friends, Strong Families, and Strong Faith by possessing a relentless pursuit of God and of the people He loves.

Welcome to the St. John Youth page!  See below for ways to get involved!

Senior High:  Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. in The Fieldhouse  (portable building behind the worship center)

High school youth Bible class will dig into relevant topics from our lives today and what God has to say concerning them. Bring a friend!

Junior High:  Sundays @ 9:30 a.m. in The Fieldhouse (portable building behind the worship center)

Do you like music? Each lesson will begin with a fun, crazy, or thought provoking activity and then be driven by a music video. We will use scripture to dig deeper into out theme.

Worship Alive: Wednesdays in the Chapel from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m.

Youth-led worship service, complete with music, sermon, and fun!

Confirmation: Wednesdays in the Chapel from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. from Sept to May

As Christians we are always under construction constantly growing in our faith in Christ. Confirmation is a time where students who are typically in 7th-8th grade will learn the basics of the Christian faith in an engaging and practical way. Teaching will occur in both large and small group settings. Each student will be in a small group with an adult mentor who has a passion for Christ and a passion for students!

Contact Cory Smith at cory.smith@stjohnmansfield.org for more information.

We pray for healing because God still heals today and the Bible encourages God's people to pray. (Luke 9:1-2, Luke 10: 1-9, Matthew 28: 19-20).

We believe God is calling His church to reclaim the healing ministry of Jesus. We do not understand why some people get healed and others do not on this side of Heaven. More people get healed when prayed for than when they are not and God is the one who does the healing.

If you would like to be prayed for, please come up after either of the Sunday services, just stop by church during the week, or schedule an appointment with our prayer leaders:

Kids ages 2 through 6th grade: Experience R.E.A.L learning on Sunday mornings. Small group time is Relational, Experiential, Applicable, and Learner-based. Kids of all ages learn that Jesus loves them and receive a solid Bible foundation with hands-on materials and interactive experiences, and families learn the same Bible point in age appropriate ways each Sunday. Visit our KidsTown Welcome Center for classroom locations.

Nursery: We are called as the church to nurture and treasure each child as a gift from God and to give high priority to the quality care and safety for all children and those who minister to them. At St. John, we are very intentional about building/ nurturing faith at every age level. Our nursery provides an opportunity for parents of children under 3 to participate in Worship and other growth opportunities.

For more information about children's events, contact Roxanne Boyer, Director of Children's Ministries, at roxanne.boyer@stjohnmansfield.org
